On a stroll to another location, a mysterious question fogged over the head of the adjudicators. Is it possible to, one letter at a time, descend from a random four letter word to 'Ryan'. The random beginning word was chosen to be 'bean". The next half hour, the adjudicators thought up a mind-blowing discovery. Ryan Gosling helped the main adjudicator in charge by working backwards, thinking of a word-descendant to 'Ryan', which they found to be 'cyan'. From there on is history.
